CarbonCure (https:\/\/www.carboncure.com\/latam\/) inyecta CO\u2082 capturado en el hormig\u00f3n fresco para mineralizarlo de forma permanente; reporta m\u00e1s de 540.000 t de CO\u2082 ahorradas a 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/seal-plus.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/ALMACENAMIENTO_CARBONO-1920x1180.avif_-1024x630.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-13137\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u00bfQue tecnolog\u00edas hay?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las tecnolog\u00edas clave para cementos que capturan\/usan CO\u2082 se agrupan en tres frentes complementarios: (1) el curado o activaci\u00f3n con CO\u2082 \u2014mediante inyecci\u00f3n o atm\u00f3sferas ricas en CO\u2082\u2014 que acelera la carbonataci\u00f3n temprana y fija el gas en carbonatos estables (p. ej., enfoques como CarbonCure); (2) qu\u00edmicas de cl\u00ednker alternativas al carbonato c\u00e1lcico que evitan la descarbonataci\u00f3n de la caliza y ya muestran desempe\u00f1o tipo OPC, como las rutas basadas en silicatos c\u00e1lcicos (Brimstone), los cementos ACT de Ecocem en proceso de certificaci\u00f3n y la ampliaci\u00f3n de Sublime Systems con acuerdos de offtake; y (3) la mineralizaci\u00f3n de residuos, que re-carbonata finos y cementos de fin de vida con potencial de abatimiento coste-efectivo seg\u00fan estudios recientes, conformando un portafolio que reduce huella sin penalizar calidad cuando la operaci\u00f3n de planta es eficiente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"950\" height=\"479\" src=\"https:\/\/seal-plus.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/20180308111207-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-13138\" srcset=\"https:\/\/seal-plus.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/20180308111207-1.jpg 950w, https:\/\/seal-plus.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/20180308111207-1-300x151.jpg 300w, https:\/\/seal-plus.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/20180308111207-1-768x387.jpg 768w, https:\/\/seal-plus.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/20180308111207-1-18x9.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 950px) 100vw, 950px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 la eficiencia del proceso es una condici\u00f3n habilitante?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Estas innovaciones solo escalan si la l\u00ednea es estable y eficiente: menos aire falso y buen control t\u00e9rmico reducen el consumo espec\u00edfico de calor y estabilizan la combusti\u00f3n, creando la ventana operativa para introducir nuevas rutas de curado\/mezclas sin penalizar calidad ni productividad. Los OEM y estudios sectoriales muestran ahorros de 5\u201310 kcal\/kg clinker al optimizar separadores\/precalentador y reducciones medibles al atacar el aire falso en sellos de horno.
